Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, the Fifth Original Jagadguru, revealed that among all spiritual practices, the Path of Bhakti Yoga is the simplest, sweetest, and most powerful way to realize God. While people often chase after knowledge, rituals, or austerities, he explained that the soul’s true fulfillment lies only in bhakti—pure, selfless devotion offered to the Divine.
This path, open to all, awakens the dormant love within the heart and connects the soul to its eternal Beloved.
Kripalu Ji Maharaj taught that true bhakti is unconditional. It is not practiced for material success, liberation, or any personal gain, but only for the joy of pleasing God. Just as Shri Radha’s love for Shri Krishna was limitless and selfless, so too must a devotee’s love be pure, free from desires and expectations.
When the heart surrenders in this way, God’s boundless grace flows, and the soul experiences eternal bliss.
To walk the path of Bhakti Yoga, he encouraged seekers to engage in chanting the holy names of God, meditating on His form, singing kirtans, and immersing in satsang.
